Agreed! I'm not into the Kindle. However, I am also hoping that it isn't a glorified iPhone. The idea sounds stupid. So I hope that what we will get is very worthwhile, timely and practical.

True. There were some rumours that it would be running iPhone OS - I hope not, I think it would be better with a full version of OS X, or at least a better optimised and featured version of the iPhone OS.
